with 16 fierce female butoh artists from all over the world! I am performing opening night, October 18th with Will Atkins to perform Medusa Butoh, inspired by the Myth of Medusa. This piece presents classic female archetypes and rejects them, and Medusa simultaneously transcends her condemnation. More importantly, this piece shows the duality of male and female, and our need for each other to survive as a species.
